Teens seen in viral video arguing before gunfire erupts at KC Super Bowl Parade

The mass shooting left a beloved local radio DJ and mother dead, and nearly two dozen injured. Two suspects, both juveniles, were apprehended by police and are expected to be charged as adults.

The clip, obtained by TMZ, was recorded at 1:48pm, around the time it was first reported that shots had been fired into the crowd.

One teen wearing a red hoodie can be seen screaming at another person outside the view of the camera. At the same time, two more teens, one in a black hoodie and the other in a brown jacket and white hoodie, make their way through the scene, reportedly towards the source of the argument. Another teen wearing a black jacket and a red beanie can be seen reaching into his pocket for something.

When the teen in the red hoodie starts taking off his backpack moments later, the others step back.

Eyewitnesses told TMZ that the teens, who all appeared to be part of the same crew, were arguing with a "much taller and possibly older man" who "definitely fired the first shots at them."

It is not clear whether the teens in the clip actually fired any shots as no gun can be seen.

In an interview with CBS Mornings, another attendee explained that while he did not see the shooter himself, he did hear a woman say "Don't do it, not here, this is stupid" before gunshots rang out.

"Some lady was holding [the suspect] back and people had started backing up," he said, "and then he pulled it out and just started shooting and spinning in a circle."

"About 15 minutes before it actually did happen, I got suspicious of a certain group of people who were there," he added, "and right before it ended up happening there was this group dressed in all black ... looked like kids."

Police Chief Stacey Graves said that the shooting did not have anything to do with "terrorism" or extremism," and that it "appeared to be a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire."
