A frivolous federal lawsuit was filed against a conservative couple in Austin, Texas after they partook in a pro-Trump caravan last year that drove alongside Biden's campaign bus while on the 2020 Presidential campaign trail in Texas.
Joeylynn Mesaros, the wife of Robert Mesaros who is also a defendant in the lawsuit, is speaking out that they are being unfairly targeted for exercising their first amendment rights by a collective of Democrat attorneys with an agenda.

"When the Biden bus drove through our city it was second nature for us to show up and represent our presidential candidate, President Trump, and to show our pride for America," Mesaros told Ari Hoffman, host of The Ari Hoffman Show on 570 KVI.
"We drove down the road alongside the bus, thought it would make a cool photo. It was fairly uneventful. We were on the road just a few minutes. It was a fun time, we got a couple good photos, and we didn't think much of it until about eight months later," Mesaros continued, a member of an independent Texas-based Trump caravan group.
"We heard from a mainstream media press release that we were getting sued in federal court under the Ku Klux Klan Law of 1871 from what the occupants of the bus claim that we premeditated to intimidate voters and to suppress black and minority voter rights and that we premeditated assault by trying to run the bus off the road," Joeylynn Mesaros explained.
Mesaros told Hoffman that the allegations are "frivolous and malicious lies" and that the lawsuit accusing them of being "white supremacists" is slander and defamation of character.
"It was really shocking to learn about it (the laswuit) on mainstream media and not get served until about four weeks after that," Mesaros explained.
When the caravan occurred on October 30, 2020, videos with false context surfaced across social media which attempted to persuade viewers that the pro-Trump caravan was trying to run the Biden campaign bus off the road. Mainstream media ran with this narrative despite zero evidence that any of it was true.
Joeylynn Mesaros, a stay-at-home mom who homeschools, and husband Robert Mesaros, a plumber, told Hoffman that their legal fees will exceed $200,000 because the lawsuit was filed in federal court.
The Mesaros' attorney with Najvar Law Firm LLC stated that the lawsuit against the Mesaros' is an abuse of the judicial system.
"These kinds of tactics will not stand. Najvar Law Firm LLC is not merely going to defend this lawsuit and exonerate Robert and Joeylynn Mesaros; we will stand up for the truth and call out the Democrats’ malicious lies. This entire lawsuit is replete with lies and half-truths, illustrating that the plaintiffs cannot make a good case by sticking to the actual facts. We will not be intimidated.
"My clients will not be intimidated. And you should not be intimidated either. The Democrats and the media can only perpetuate their lies and half-truths as long as we let them. This lawsuit is an abuse of the judicial system, and it will not stand," Najvar Law Firm LLC stated.
