Trans criminal arrested in stabbing death of USPS worker in New York seen on video singing ‘I’m such a whore, but I’m not a hoe’

In the video, Cruz, who is a transgender-identifying biological male, is seen moving seductively to the music, making eye contact with the camera. It is unclear if the account owner who posted the video is affiliated with Cruz.

Cruz, who faces murder and manslaughter charges, allegedly stabbed 36-year-old Ray Hodges, a USPS worker and father of two, during a dispute inside Joe’s Deli Grocery on Thursday. Witnesses said the argument began when Cruz became angry while waiting in line. Cruz reportedly spat in Hodges’ face before stabbing him in the stomach. Hodges was transported to Harlem Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

“He was in the store counting his money to check how much he had to order. She came in after him and she had bags probably from the supermarket. She put her bags by the coffee machine and she came to order,” a deli employee told the New York Post. “He told her he’s trying to order his sandwich and she started arguing with him. I told him it wasn’t worth it.”

After the attack, Cruz fled to an apartment on West 18th Street, where police arrested Cruz in the lobby. Cruz is being held without bail.

The incident also brought attention to Cruz’s prior criminal history, which includes a July 2020 arrest for threatening someone with a box cutter in Midtown West. Cruz was also previously arrested for participating in a robbery at knifepoint.
