US Airman who self-immolated in DC connected to Antifa, mocked military service members
Aaron Bushnell, a US airman who performed self-immolation in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington DC, was connected to Antifa and mocked deceased US military members online.
It has been revealed that Aaron Bushnell, who self-immolated in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC on Sunday, was a supporter of the "Stop Cop City" movement and was connected to Antifa. He also mocked deceased US military personnel in online posts.
The Reddit Account belonging to Bushnell revealed that he often interacted with Anitfa-linked social channels. In one post, he took a screenshot of a DOD announcement that said "Three Army Reserve soldiers killed yesterday."
The post from Bushnell's username acebush1 inside the Reddit channel "ACAB," posted the screenshot of the soldier announcement and labeled the file, "Oh no anyway."
In addition to this, he posted the commonly used term "KEKW," which is a term to represent having a big laugh on Twitch, in response to a US military F-16 crashing at Osan Air Base in South Korea last May.
In another post, he applauded the vandalism of Utah State Senator Mike Kennedy's house where activists spray-painted "fascist" on the garage door in response to Kennedy sponsoring a bill that would prevent minors from getting sex change surgeries.
He also posted support of the "Stop Cop City" movement in Atlanta, a violent movement by far-left extremists to stop the construction of a police training facility.
Bushnell followed many different activist and radical left-wing organizations and engaged with them on Reddit.
On Sunday, Bushnell lit himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC protesting the Israel-Hamas war. He repeatedly screamed, “Free Palestine!” until he collapsed on the ground.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
