Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy says he has no plans to take a cabinet position if he loses the presidential run.
In an interview on the Steve Hilton Show on Tuesday, when asked about rumors of him aiming to be in the race for a cabinet position, Ramaswamy said if he lost, he would just return to the private sector.

Ramaswamy responded, "I would not. I think the right way to drive change for me in this country, if I'm not in this race, is through the private sector as I've been doing it."
Prior to making his presidential run, Ramaswamy founded a biotech company, Roivant Sciences, as well as Strive, an investment firm that focuses on shareholder rather than stakeholder - or ESG - investments.
"I think there's a lot of talented politicians and if there's a need for another politician to fill some rank, there's great deep bench to choose from,” Ramaswamy continued. "I think in our movement there's a lot thinner of a bench when it comes to people who actually know how to build great enterprises."
Ramaswamy addressed poll numbers, saying that they are better for his campaign than expected, and added, "every presidential cycle, somebody in like May or June is pontificating thinking about [that] they know where that puck is going."
Ramaswamy emphasized that the presidential debates play a huge part in who wins the primary and that early speculation is not reliable.
Over the weekend, Ramaswamy took first place for the second pick in a GOP primary straw poll at the Turning Point Action conference in Florida.
