"This is my table," she said, but the man would not move. Other demonstrators rushed over, called the woman Karen, and screamed curses at the couple. The activists demonstrated an air of entitlement as they took seats at the table.
When the couple tried to retain their table, demonstrators cursed at them, refused to leave, and a blew a horn in their faces. The woman tried to make a phone call while the man sat and enjoyed his beverage.
Fiallo reported that that protests had been peaceful up until this point. demonstrator climbed on top of cars stopped at an intersection. The man who can be seen climbing on top of the car appears to be the same man who took a seat at the couple's table a short time later.
After he climbs down from the car and it drives away, he smashes it with his skateboard and walks away clapping while those in the crowd yell "f*** you c*nt" at the departing vehicle.

View on XThese have become frequent tactics used by militants to disrupt the lives of normal civilians who are not engaged in taking direct action in the streets. The attitude of protestors is increasingly that those who are not actively engaged in creating civil unrest are actively opposed to their stated political aims.
Demonstrators in Rochester, San Diego, Louisville, and so many other cities have behaved in similarly disrupting ways, protesting civilians and bystanders. The protests that began at the end of May in the wake of George Floyd's death in police custody have taken on a life of their own, and the names of Daniel Prude (Rochester) and Breonna Taylor (Louisville) have added fuel to the activists' arsonist flames.
