WATCH: Libby Emmons tells Jack Posobiec ‘there are no rights trans people don’t have’

"What's in this thing?" Posbiec asked

"This trans Bill of Rights is addressing a problem that doesn't exist," Emmons said. "There are no rights that transgender people in America do not have. They have all the rights, the same rights as everybody else as elucidated in the Constitution."

"What's really at stake is whether or not transgender people get the same protections enshrined in the civil rights act based on gender identity, as opposed to based on race or biological sex. So that's what they're trying to enshrine," Emmons said.

On June 23 the Biden administration, through the Department of Education, proposed new rules for the implementation of Title IX, which would replace protections for women, on the basis of biological sex, in favor of gender identity protections.

The anchor for Biden's argument is, as Emmons points out, based on the Supreme Court ruling on Bostock v Clayton County. Emmons describes how that case was essentially about "an old man who worked at a funeral home who wanted to wear women's clothing to work."

In that case an "elderly crossdresser wanted to wear women's clothes, as he greeted the public at a funeral home. This was something his bosses objected to because it was freaking out people mourning the loss of loved ones. But the Supreme Court ruled that the funeral home was engaging in discrimination in a very narrow opinion."

Posobiec also asked about how the Biden Administration was "moving towards this enshrinement of trans ideology in government executive orders," a comment in reference to a June 15 Executive Order that President Biden signed which was uniformly aimed at children.

Under the auspices of "protecting" children from the "harmful practice" of conversion therapy the order would in effect, as Emmons replied, "prevent us from telling our daughters that they are not boys."

Emmons explained that the Biden Administration is, "expanding the definition of conversion therapy to not simply mean that it would be illegal to counsel a gay person to be straight, but they are also including that it would be illegal to counsel a person of one biological sex that they are not the other biological sex."

The order in question tasked the Department of Health and Human Services to prioritize resources for gender identity issues and their promotion, especially in children. The assistant HHS secretary is Dr. Rachel Levine, the first biological male who identifies as transgender to hold a federal appointed office.

Minors have been identifying as transgender in record numbers while seeking hormones, puberty blockers, and sometimes surgery to mutilate their bodies for the sake of "gender affirmation." Many states have been passing protective legislation that define biological sex is innate as a response to this phenomenon.

Emmons wrote in The Post Millennial, "minors should not be medically tampered with in the name of gender identity. Biden opposes this, seeming to believe that his role as President of the United States is to instruct parents, schools, legislatures and states to tell children that their fantasies of believing themselves to be the opposite sex are real and true, and it is reality that is the lie."
