‘Where is Joe Biden’ trends on X as Biden not seen by public in 5 days

"Where is Joe Biden" trended on X Monday, coming after Biden announced on Sunday that he would be ending his reelection bid. The announcement was made through X, and the last time Biden was seen by the public in person was on Wednesday when he tested positive for Covid and had to cancel remaining events in Nevada.

In his announcement, Biden wrote that he would "speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision," but no additional details were given. Some on social media have even questioned whether Biden actually signed the dropout letter that was posted to social media after comparing signatures.

The phrase "Where is Joe Biden" reached number three in US trending topics on X as of Monday afternoon, more than 24 hours after the announcement.

"Where is Joe Biden? Serious question. Is he ok," Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene asked.
