On Wednesday, President Biden's staffers gathered outside the White House to demand a ceasefire in Israel's war against Palestine's Hamas.
They held a candlelight vigil for those who had been killed in the conflict and obscured their identities behind masks and sunglasses as they publicly shamed their boss, Joe Biden.
The group used candles to spell out "ceasefire" and arrived with signs that read "President Biden, Your Staff Demands a Ceasefire," according to CNN.
Josh Paul, a former State Dept official who resigned over the Biden administration's approach to the Israel-Hamas war, delivered opening remarks at the vigil and said: "The temporary ceasefire ended 13 days ago, and we have been horrified to see the full resumption of killings, displacement, and bombardment of Palestinian civilians in Gaza."
"A temporary pause to this violence was never enough. We must move with urgency to save as many lives as possible and achieve an immediate, permanent ceasefire agreement and the return of all hostages," Paul told the crowd.
He then read a statement on behalf of the event organizers: "We demand President Biden and Members of the Cabinet to speak up: call for a permanent ceasefire, a release of all hostages, and an immediate de-escalation now."

View on XSince Hamas invaded Israel at daybreak on Oct. 7 and slaughtered more than one thousand Israeli civilians in the most heinous terrorist attack the state has seen since 1973, far-left activists have demanded that Israel stop defending itself from the Palestinian terror group. Democrats have shamed the Biden administration for vowing support for Israel and have demanded a ceasefire in Gaza ever since.
Last month, anti-Israel protesters marched through Washington, DC and defaced historic monuments, statues, and vandalized White House property. Demonstrators attempted to scale the White House security fence and chanted, "Intifada." They used red paint to place hand marks on federal property to signify that President Biden has "blood on his hands."
