'Why didn't she do it?': Trump slams Kamala for not taking action in almost 4 years in office on border, economy
"So she just started by saying she's going to do this. She's going to do that. She's going to do all these wonderful things. Why hasn't she done it?"
Donald Trump closed the Tuesday presidential debate by hitting Kamala Harris for not acting on promises she has been making during her 2024 campaign after Harris gave her closing statements, focusing on abortion and her past career experience as a prosecutor in California.
Trump responded, saying, "So she just started by saying she's going to do this. She's going to do that. She's going to do all these wonderful things. Why hasn't she done it?"
The GOP nominee focused on the point that Harris has been in office as the VP "for three and a half years" and has not taken enough action on the economy with jobs as well as the border with illegal immigration.
"They've had three and a half years to fix the border. They've had three and a half years to create jobs and all the things we talked about. Why hasn't she done it?" Trump added.
On foreign policy failures of the Biden-Harris administration, Trump stated, "We don't have any idea what's going on. We have wars going on in the Middle East. We have wars going on with Russia and Ukraine. We're going to end up in a third world war, and it will be a war like no other."
Throughout the debate on ABC, many said on social media that the moderators were biased towards Kamala Harris, with Linsey Davis spreading the false claim that "there is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it's born.” There are several states which allow babies to die if they are born in botched abortions.
