On Saturday, rapper Nicki Minaj filmed herself being arrested by police in Amsterdam for allegedly attempting to carry drugs to her show in Manchester.
In a video on Instagram Live, officers were telling Minaj that she had to go to the police station after being told she was being arrested for carrying drugs, but while she tried to ask where that was, the officers began talking about getting the rapper to her show so they wanted to get her processed quickly.
Confused about why the officer was talking about her show, she asked what was going on, and he told her she was under arrest. Minaj questioned what she was being arrested for, the officer asked her to stop filming.
The officers asked her to step into the van and assured her she would get a lawyer when she got to the office. The video ended with the rapper getting in the truck.
In another video posted by Minaj on X, a man informed the rapper that the police had to offload all the luggage from the plane to search. When asked why they didn't do that before the bags were loaded, the man told Minaj that it was because she filmed the officers, so they believed she was hiding something.
In another post, the rapper said they took her bags and loaded them on the plane before she could even see the bags. "They took my luggage & when I asked where it is they said it's on the plane. It couldn't have been I just pulled up," she said.
She went on to claim that people are being paid to sabotage her tour because "soooooo many ppl are mad that it’s this successful & they can’t eat off me." She added, "This is how they plant things in your luggage."
In a later post, Minaj said, "Now they said they found weed & that another group of ppl have to come here to weigh the pre-rolls." She noted, "Keep in mind they took my bags without consent. My security has already advised them those pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yea & the pilot wants me to take my ig post down."
According to her website, Minaj is currently on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour and is scheduled to perform in Manchester, United Kingdom, on Saturday evening.
