North Bay police asking for assistance in locating missing 12-year-old girl

Maxine Dauphinais, 12, was last seen just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday at her Sudbury home on Douglas Street.

North Bay police are asking for public assistance in an investigation involving the disappearance of a young girl.

Maxine Dauphinais, 12, was last seen just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday at her North Bay home on Douglas Street.

John Schultz, the North Bay Police Service community safety coordinator said that investigators currently believe the case is likely a runaway based on the information collected so far.

Maxine’s description is:

  • 5 feet/152 cms
  • 114 lbs/52 kgs
  • Shoulder length blonde hair
  • Hazel eyes

Maxine was last seen wearing a green hoodie and a grey t-shirt with grey sweatpants that have two white stripes running down the sides.

People with information are asked to call North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and choose option 9 for an officer.
