On Monday, police in Bexley, Ohio arrested a man after allegedly trespassing on private property and making antisemitic remarks to residents who displayed Israeli flags outside their homes.

Thomas Reidy, 39, was caught on a doorbell camera walking up to one woman's house and calling her a "Zionist pig," while another resident said he, too, was targeted.

"I've never used one of these," Reidy said, referring to the video doorbell.

When the woman calmly asked what she could help him with, he proceeded to launch into an antisemitic rant.

"You Zionist pigs are f*cking disgusting," Reidy said, staring right into the camera.

According to Fox28, another resident said the suspect "just told me he hoped I died" and "called me several names."

Bexley police noted that "a male, white with a beard and plaid/flannel shirt left in a silver or dark gray two-door sedan ... came to the door and made antisemitic comments to the resident, appears to have been triggered by the Israeli flag in front."

Reidy was apprehended in his home after the video of him was posted to social media and went viral. He is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail.

According to ABC6, this is not the first time Reidy has been caught making disparaging remarks about Jewish people. On October 7, he was spotted by police driving past a synagogue and shouting about Israel out the car window.

Authorities did not arrest him at the time, as none of his speech was illegal, however, they did note his license plate. Officers were able to identify him as the suspect in Sunday's attack via that information.

It is unclear whether Reidy will be charged with a hate crime, or "ethnic intimidation," however he is facing counts of criminal trespass.

Police and local Jewish groups have stated that this appears to be an isolated incident, and that they do not believe Reidy was working with any other suspects.
