Olive Garden more secure than federal elections as Never-Ending Pasta Pass photo ID implemented

"American elections should not be less secure than Olive Garden’s endless pasta."

"American elections should not be less secure than Olive Garden’s endless pasta."

Olive Garden has more security requirements for its new never-ending pasta pass than many states have for federal elections. A post from the restaurant has gone viral after the chain said that its new never-ending pasta deal will require pasta pass holders to have a photo ID.

In response to an X user asking if a pass holder can use the never-ending pasta pass to order food for their family or others at their table, the restaurant chain responded, "No. The Never-Ending Pasta Pass is only for use by the Passholder whose name is printed on the Pass. Passes are personalized and non-transferable. Passholders must present a valid photo I.D. along with the Pass at the time of ordering."

The post talking about the photo ID requirement has gone viral, with many saying that Olive Garden's never-ending pasta deal is now more secure than election in states where no photo ID is required.

Youtuber ShoeOnHead said in a post in response, "need a driver’s license for a pasta pass at olive garden but not to vote in California."

X account Viral Videos said in response, "Olive Garden’s Pasta Pass is more secure than the elections taking place in Democrat run cities and states. With that said, I nominate Olive Garden’s executive team to be in charge of U.S. election integrity."

Senator Mike Lee, who has been a champion of the SAVE America Act, which would require national voter ID laws, said in a post to X, "American elections should not be less secure than Olive Garden’s endless pasta. Pass the SAVE America Act."

Others, in response to the post from Olive Garden, poked fun at the claim that voter ID is racist, a talking point often said by Democrats. Senator Chuck Schumer has claimed that voter ID laws are something akin to "Jim Crow 2.0."

X user Andrew Fredella said, "Isn’t that pasta suppression by requiring I’d? You’re disfenschising impasta minorities who can’t acquire an id."

GOP Rep. Michael Cloud said of the post from Olive Garden, "Apparently, women and minorities will no longer be able to eat pasta at Olive Garden."
