Ottawa police are investigating an incident at the office of Minister of Infrastructure and Liberal MP Catherine McKenna.

Police told CTV News that the incident took place on August 6 at roughly 10:30 am.

"We received a complaint and it is presently under investigation. No further information at this time," Ottawa Police Const. Martin Dompierre told CTV News.

Police did not provide information on what the incident was.

Viral videos of harassment

Over the weekend, videos emerged of a man approaching the office of McKenna. The man tried to enter the office of McKenna before being told my a staffer that the office was closed to the public due to COVID-19.

Warning: The following videos contain vulgarity.

The man goes on to call McKenna and the Trudeau Liberals "pedophiles," before finding a CBC cameraman and calling him a "traitor" and, again, a "pedophile."

The man posted several videos of himself harassing people around Ottawa. Police have not confirmed whether or not the incident is related to the videos. The videos, coincidentally, were posted at the same time that police described.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
