Palestine flag-wielding Marxist storms Yankee Stadium field on 9/11—tackled by security

A man waving a Palestinian flag stormed the field at Yankee Stadium on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

38-year-old Kelly Marucci of Long Island was arrested and charged with interference with a professional sporting event and trespassing after he jumped from the stands and rushed onto the field during the seventh inning of the Yankees game Friday at exactly 9:11 pm. Marucci was quickly tackled by security as fans chanted “USA!” while he was apprehended.

Prior to the game, Marucci had posted a series of rants about the terrorist attacks on Facebook. He complained about capitalism, Zionism, and condemned a number of individuals, including President Donald Trump and podcaster Joe Rogan.

“The CIA manufactured Al-Queda. They used Osama Bin-Laden as a boogey man-behind closed doors corporations were making deals with Saudi Arabia, promising travel, and commerce giving Mohammed Bin-Salman access to the West-and giving private NGO's access to oil money. Sex trafficking money. Drug money,” he wrote in one post. “They know the Epstein Class was behind 911-working either in tandem with Mossad and CIA or simply blackmailed by them. Trump is destroying America, and with an Ego as big as his is, he's not doing it because he wants to.”

At the time of his storming the field, Marucci was wearing a jersey that read “no Kings.”

According to the New York Post, Marucci also reportedly has an inactive OnlyFans profile, though he claimed the page was created to see how cultural norms have passed judgment on sex workers. His bio stated, “Politically, I identify as a revisionist-Marxist, and the core values of this expression are very important to me.”

“I’m passionate about social equality. Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere,” it added.

The Yankees honored victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks during its pregame ceremonies, with several members of the 2001 Yankees present. The game itself was a Subway Series matchup between the Yankees and Mets, with players wearing special caps honoring first responders. Players and coaches across the league wore caps featuring a side patch that read, “We Shall Never Forget.”
