Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a stolen puppy that was grabbed off of the street in Etobicoke.

The dog, whose name is King, was grabbed and pulled into a black sedan on August 5 at 1:45 pm. The dog was walking ahead of its owners on Gihon Spring Drive in Etobicoke's Mt. olive area.

The owner, who was walking with children, stopped to assist one of them as the dog continued walking. That's when a man stopped in his vehicle and grabbed the dog before speeding off.

Kign is an 11-week old Doberman/American bulldog mix.
