Conservative Shadow Minister for Jobs Pierre Poilievre sicced the dogs on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday, calling Trudeau a "one dose, maskless hypocrite" who "breaks all his own rules."

The criticism came after photos and videos emerged of the prime minister during his visit to the G7 summit in England. Trudeau was seen on multiple instances cozying up to world leaders and royalty, all with very minimal concern for rules that he implements on Canadians at home.

"FACT: Canadian police are literally arresting people for failing to distance and for gathering mask-free," said Poilievre in response to his tweet. "Trudeau: Rules for thee, not for me."

The prime minister, who has made repeated calls for Canadians to not travel, visited Cornwall for the G7 meeting, despite not being fully vaccinated.

Trudeau will be welcomed back to Canada by being confined in his own COVID facility, designed specifically for his quarantining.

Canadians returning from any foreign country have been required to pay thousands of dollars to stay at a quarantine hotel for at least 3 days.

Trudeau caused some controversy during his trip when he undermined a reporter, remarking that the accomplishments of the G7 during this year's summit will outlive the newspaper which Brits use to wrap their fish in.

"After enjoying near unanimous press gallery support for over a decade, Trudeau says media is nothing but fish wrap," said Poilievre in response to Trudeau's remark. "How ungrateful."
