Dozens of protestors surround and climb on the truck as it turns down the road.
On Friday, pro-Palestinian protestors swarmed a semi-truck and confronted its driver during a direct-action protest targeting a Boeing facility in Portland, Oregon.
In a video posted to X by The Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo, captured by a passing driver, dozens of protestors surround and climb on the truck as it attempted to turn down a road that led to the facility.
The incident took place at the location where a local Antifa-linked organization was holding its "Shut it Down! for Palestine" direct action event. In an Instagram post, the @freepeoplepdx account called for action on Friday, starting at 8 a.m. at the Boeing facility on NE Sandy Blvd.
The post also recommended students walk out of classes, and talk to friends and/or family about the shut-it-down cause. It also advised people to not do any shopping and not show up for work.
In the post, Ngo points out the similarities between the direct action events the pro-Palestine activists have been hosting to how the 2020 BLM-Antifa riots were organized.
The same organization co-hosted a rally at city hall with the Portland branch of the Party for Socialism and Liberation to stand in "solidarity with Palestine" and "call for an immediate ceasefire and stop U.S. aid to Israel," an Instagram post read.
Pro-Palestine protests have taken place around the country, with many of them devolving into violence. On Monday, protestors stormed the lobby of the Fox News Headquarters in New York City and accused the network of covering up genocide.
On Wednesday, protesters clashed with police as they attempted to break into the Washington, D.C. headquarters for the Democratic National Committee. One protester said they were outside the DNC because the "party claims to be on the side of life and peace and equality and we're saying we want them to live up to their values and oppose this horrific war and call for a cease-fire now."
During the event, the US Capitol Police posted that its officers were "working to keep back approximately 150 people who are illegally and violently protesting in the area of Canal Street and Ivy Street, SE," and warned people to stay away from the area.
Global protests have taken place since Israel was attacked by the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza on Oct. 7. Many in these protests see the people of Gaza as the victims of Israel, even though it is a direct response to the attack which took over two years for the group to plan
