Prominent feminist suggests coronavirus is a ‘clap back’ from Mother Nature

Climate change activists like Jamil who are fond of using science to back up claims about the end times are now delving into the world of superstition.

Jameela Jamil, prominent feminist activist and actress, has just produced what may be the worst tweet in the history of Twitter.

“I can’t help but wonder if this virus is the clap back from Mother Nature we were waiting for. She wants us to stop moving and consuming and burning or she’s going to fuck us all up. Wishing endurance, strength and patience to those affected by Corona. It’s all really scary,” she tweeted, like a petulant, uneducated school girl.

Jamil would have us believe that the coronavirus is some sort of woke comeuppance to the western world. Commence biting fingernails and freaking out, everyone! If only we’d heeded the call of our betters and stopped human progress in its tracks when we had the chance! Rent garments are sure to litter the streets as lamentations fill the air and we all don our hair shirts and lash ourselves silly with guilt and regret.

It is not surprising that Jamil tweeted this out. In fact, it was predictable. It was only a matter of time before climate change and anti-human activists jumped on the bandwagon of this natural disaster being just the wake up call that the world needs in order to halt their evil ways.

Climate change activists like Jamil, who are so fond of touting scientific evidence to back up their claims about the end of the world being nigh upon us, are here delving into the world of superstition. Instead of taking this dastardly coronavirus for what it is, a global pandemic, the likes of which humanity has undoubtedly seen and been befuddled by before, she is using it as an opportunity to claim that it backs up her assertions about the world being doomed because of humanity’s own inaction on sustainable energy resources.

This is not only a stupid take, since the world doesn’t actually have an anima and mother Gaia is a story we tell ourselves and not an actual consciousness, but it is a dangerous one. Crazed cultists have come up with reasons for mass life ending events for reasons far less compelling than this one. The time of the coronavirus pandemic is not one in which to chastise ourselves for using the earth’s resources to lift so much of the world’s population out of poverty, but to figure out, with a calm, measured, reasonable approach, the best way to care for our most vulnerable populations.

The truth is that coronavirus is a lethal pandemic and many of our loved ones will get sick and die before a remedy is found. But the solution to it will be found thanks to scientific research and discovery. Climate change, too, will be addressed through scientific innovation—not woke posturing or virtue signalling.

Jamil is guilty of promoting the exact opposite of science—cultish superstition. It won’t solve anything; indeed, it actually makes everything worse. It’s time for her and her legions of indoctrinated foot soldiers to grow up, reject their paranoid religion, and face facts. After all, facts are the only things that will save us from the challenge that we—as a global community—are facing.
