None of the three lawyers assigned to the Hunter Biden case filed in Delaware have had any previous involvement in the investigation. It is unclear whether or not the lawyers, who had been working on the investigation case for several years, were pulled as charges were filed against Hunter.

In a report from the Daily Mail, an internal letter between a federal judge and Delaware’s US Attorney, David Weiss, the three prosecutors listed on the case have had no previous involvement with it.

The new prosecutors listed are Assistant US Attorneys Leo Wise, Derek Hines, and Benjamin Wallace.

The veteran Delaware prosecutors who had been part of the previous Hunter Biden investigation, Lesley Wolf, Shawn Weede, and Shannon Hanson, were not listed.

In hundreds of pages of sworn testimony Gary Shapley, one of the IRS whistleblowers who prompted the investigation into Hunter Biden, he referenced the previous prosecutors' names several times but Hines Wallace, and Wise's names are not mentioned once.

The names were not found in another incriminating testimony of Hunter from another whistleblower who is known as "Mr. X."

Shapley's lawyer told the Daily Mail, "None of the three were involved in the underlying investigation during Gary's tenure, to my knowledge."

Wolf, one of the attorneys who was deeply involved with the case, was not listed anywhere on the letter.

Shapley and whistleblower "X" were critical of Wolf in their testimonies. Shapley recalled how she blocked and "would not allow a physical search warrant on Hunter Biden." Wolf had stated she didn't know if "the juice was worth the squeeze."

The Daily Mail requested comment from the Delaware US Attorney's office about the matter. However, a spokesman "decline[d] to comment on staffing and personnel matters" related to Wolf.

Wise, one of the other veteran prosecutors on the case who was not on the letter, was also recently demoted this year, according to a report. It was unclear what caused the demotion. Wallace joined the Delaware office in March of this year. Hines previously worked between 2013 and 2015 as Special Counsel to ex-FBI director Louis Freeh, one of Hunter Biden’s business partners, according to the Daily Mail.
