Following months of inaction against the rioters in Portland, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler has allowed himself to look weak and now faces demands to resign from the same people whose side he took against President Trump.

Anti-police protesters have set up camp inside Wheeler's apartment complex on Saturday, which is located in the city's Pearl district, to demand his resignation.

According to KATU, around 10 protesters "occupied" the lobby of Wheeler's apartment building before leaving of their own accord. Wheeler did nothing to acknowledge the incident or speak with the protestors.

The group made a collective demand for the mayor to resign, and also called for him to first slash the budget for the Portland Police Department.

Around 11pm, the small protest group removed itself from the building to relocate to nearby Peninsula Park to join with another Black Lives Matter protest group that marched on the Police Association building. Some members of the group attempted to set the building on fire.

Portland has since moved into its 95th day of constant nightly riots and mayhem. Mayor Wheeler’s only response has been to write a rebuttal to US President Trump, telling him he and federal aid are not welcome in Portland.

In the video, the supposedly anti-police protestors can clearly be seen crying for the police to come to their aid after trying to commit acts of violence on others.
