Virginia Police say a rape suspect released from prison due to the coronavirus went on to kill his accuser.

The man, Ibrahim Bouaichi, shot the woman to death according to Alexandria police. The victim has been identified as Karla Elizabeth Dominguez Gonzalez according to local news.

Bouaichi was arrested on rape charges and was jailed without bond after Gonzalez testified against him in December. He was released after his lawyers had argued that the pandemic posed a threat to Bouaichi's safety.

Police located Bouaichi in Alexandria, Virginia where he was chased down. He was found in his car with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital for medical supervision.

A source familiar with the situation revealed to The Post Millennial that the self-inflicted gun wound was in the head.
