“But you can't get yourself to say, ‘Vote for Biden over Trump?!’” Maher exclaimed.
The rapper Killer Mike appeared on Bill Maher refused to endorse President Joe Biden over former President Trump in an interview with the host. When Maher pressed the rapper to endorse a vote for Biden, Killer Mike refused.
Michael Render, or better known in the music industry as Killer Mike, was repeatedly pressed by Maher to say he would vote for Biden when it came to be election time.
When Maher asked the musician about his feelings about the 2024 election, he replied, "My feeling is, pick your policy, not your person... This is not the Dallas Cowboys versus your favorite team."
After pressing him a little more on the subject Maher asked Killer Mike about who would be voting for in the election. The rapper didn't answer one way or the other with respect to the candidates.
"So that means you're for?" Maher pressed him. The rapper again would not respond saying that Maher would get him in trouble with viewers.
“But you can't get yourself to say, ‘Vote for Biden over Trump?!’” Maher exclaimed.
Killer Mike replied, “Can he get himself to apologize for the crime bill?”
"Can he get himself to get his head out of his ass and say ‘black people, you are black regardless? I need you to tell me what I need to do.’ Can he pick a coalition of former people who were affected by drug law, street gangs, recidivism and crime and say ‘I need you as a board to advise me how to fix federal prisons’? If he can do that, absolutely I can. So, my challenge is out,” he went on.
Maher was taken aback by his response.
