Journalist James O'Keefe revealed on Friday that United States Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta demanded Twitter to suppress the journalist's bombshell video that exposed voter registration irregularities in Georgia just days prior to announcing her nomination to serve in Attorney General Merrick Garland's cabinet.

According to documents obtained by OMG media group through Texas Lindsay, Gupta had sent an email to Vijaya Gadde, the disgraced former head of legal, policy, and trust at Twitter, and asked for O'Keefe's "dangerous" video to be censored off the platform, calling it "disinformation" at the time.

The investigative report that O'Keefe had released that Gupta had censored exposed that “thousands of people” were allegedly registered to vote at one address.

Vanita Gupta, who is the third highest-ranking official within the Department of Justice, was told by Gadde through an apparent email that her team at Twitter "can escalate any issues to our on call review teams." O'Keefe's video was taken off the social media platform and his account was permanently suspended shortly after Gupta's request.

Before being appointed to serve in the Biden administration in 2021, Gupta served as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division under President Barack Obama.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
