Alvin Kamara, star running back for the New Orleans Saints, has been fined $5000 for wearing red and green cleats on a Christmas Day game.
It would appear that NFL officials were not impressed with his violation of league uniform policy, despite the festive occasion.
Nonetheless, the star running back had a banner game, and is probably not worried too much about having to shell out the money for expressing himself with his footwear.
Kamala tied the NFL record, getting six touchdowns in a single game. This is also the first time someone has scored six times in one game since way back in 1929.
This impressive performance was part of a very high-scoring game on both sides, but the Saints managed to trounce the Minnesota Vikings with an impressive 52-33 final score.
The Saints will move on to play the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte on Sunday, but they have already won their division on points, and are guaranteed a playoff spot.
