Ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, former vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin hinted at a potential return to politics in the near future.
"You know, you are very popular. You're a good friend of mine, but you’re a very popular personality, you're a very popular politician — You have aspirations to get back into elected office or anything more in politics? What's next for Sarah Palin?" Newsmax's "The Balance" host Eric Bolling asked Palin.
"I would love to, I would never say never. And no, I feel like, you know, there are still some offerings that I have in terms of a servant's heart," responded Palin.
"I want to serve. I want to help the people. And I think I have a heck of a lot of common sense. And that's what we need today. And I'm not so obsessively partisan, that I let that get in the way of just doing what's right for the people. So I would love to," Palin continued.
"Stay tuned. In other words, folks," responded Bolling.
Palin served as governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009. During the 2008 presidential elections, Palin served as presidential candidate John McCain's vice presidential nominee.
Since then, Palin served as a correspondent for Fox News between 2010 and 2015, and most recently supported former President Donald Trump for president in 2016.
