Florida officials say six men allegedly kidnapped two people at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort and tortured them. The incident took place on the night of May 29. According to an unsealed court document, one of the suspects allegedly pressured a victim and a witness to attend a car show in Broward County, Florida.

Saul Alfonso Fajardo, 19, Justin Phihoang Le, 20, Amari Tamire Hill, 21, Anthony Teruel Hernandez, 18, Marikevies McNichols Jr., 19, and Weilen Hernandez, 20, were all charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Court documents allege that the victims, who were not identified, met with Fajardo in the resort parking garage, where they were subsequently held at gunpoint and forced into two vehicles. Officials allege that Hill slammed one of the victims into a car. Le reportedly threatened, "If you try to get out, I'm going to end your life," and warned he would kill the victim and his family.

The victims were allegedly robbed of their phones, jewelry, clothing, and other belongings. One victim was allegedly coerced into sending $400 through Zelle.

The victims were stripped to their underwear as demands for more money continued. Hill reportedly fired a shot into the air during a video call to intimidate others. Worried that an ankle monitor worn by one victim could alert law enforcement, the group allegedly released him in Cooper City, where he fled in his underwear to a relative's home. The second victim reportedly faked a seizure amid fears the suspects were destroying evidence and eventually escaped after being thrown from a vehicle.

Authorities recovered burned clothing and the victims' belongings at a boat ramp, along with surveillance footage. Text messages between an unidentified female suspect and Fajardo allegedly referenced the assault, including a message instructing him to "DELETE INSTA."

The case remains under investigation by the FBI and local authorities. The suspects face serious federal charges.
