Missouri Rep. Cori Bush recently filed a disclosure form on Friday showing that she is set to receive a sum of between $50,000 and $100,000 to write a book.

According to Fox News, the book deal is coming from Knopf Doubleday Publishing. At the time of this writing, details aren't available regarding what the possible subject or contents of the book might be.

In the same disclosure, Bush revealed that the had also paid herself a $32,000 salary from her campaign, claiming on the form that it was allowed by the Federal Elections Commission. There is also another line item for $12,000 for what she calls "research consulting."

Critics have also slammed Bush for spending almost $70,000 on private security over the past three month. Some of this money even went to illegally hire two moonlighting off-duty deputies during a jail tour.

"They would rather I die? You would rather me die? Is that what you want to see? You want to see me die? You know, because that could be the alternative," replied Bush when confronted about her private security expenditures.
