McCommon allegedly texted the victim a familiar "code word" to make contact.
On Thursday, former teacher Alissa McCommon, 38, was rearrested at her Covington, Tennessee, home for allegedly contacting the child that is accusing her of rape, which was a violation of the court order.
According to a statement by the Covington Police Department, McCommon was charged with coercion of a witness, aggravated stalking, and harassment after she allegedly threatened the victim by saying he would "regret doing this," along with admitting to a sexual encounter with the victim.
McCommon was previously arrested on September 8 on charges of rape of a child. She was subsequently released on bond under the condition that she would not contact the victim "or any minors other than her own children."
McCommon then allegedly used a new phone number to text the victim a familiar code word to make contact with the victim. The code word was previously used to confirm the boy was alone before she sent nude photographs to him on Snapchat, according to police.
Covington Police Cheif Donna Turner said, in a statement, "The actions of McCommon are not only appalling, but CPD is also concerned about this apparent violation of her bond conditions." She continued, "Due to the nature of the communications, we are concerned others may have been contacted."
"We continue to work closely with the District Attorney’s Office as to the revocation of McCommon’s bond, as well as the additional charges that continue to develop.”
According to the New York Post, the police said McCommon is also accused of sending former students inappropriate photos and propositioning them for sex. Through her attorney, McCommon denies the allegations and says that social media is carrying out a "witch hunt" against her.
McCommon is currently being held without bond at the Tipton County Jail. As its investigation continues, police are asking for parents to come forward if their child was contacted by an unknown number so they can check the information to ensure the abuse does not continue.
