Texas fugitive wanted for child sexual abuse arrested by US Marshals near Seattle

A Texas fugitive wanted on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14 was arrested in Washington state after federal authorities tracked him more than 2,000 miles from the Lone Star State, according to the US Marshals Service.

Dombraye Pamosoo, 21, was wanted by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office after an arrest warrant was issued on May 27, 2026.

The US Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force was asked to assist in locating Pamosoo. Investigators subsequently determined that he was in the greater Seattle area and forwarded the lead to the US Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force.

The two federal task forces worked together to locate Pamosoo more than 2,000 miles from Texas.

Pamosoo was arrested without incident in the 2600 block of South 161st Street in SeaTac, Washington, according to the Marshals Service. He was then transported to the King County Jail, where authorities said he would remain pending extradition to Texas.

"This arrest demonstrates the strength of our partnerships across the country," Acting US Marshal Donrien Stephens said. "When someone is accused of exploiting a child, distance will not prevent us from finding them and ensuring they face the charges against them."

The charge Pamosoo faces in Texas is among the state's most serious child sex-abuse offenses. Under Texas law, the offense of continuous sexual abuse of a young child applies when prosecutors allege that a person committed two or more qualifying acts of sexual abuse during a period of 30 days or more involving a victim younger than 14. A conviction carries a potential sentence of 25 to 99 years or life in prison.
