Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has come out to publicly address allegations that he committed sexual assault. This is the first time she's spoken publicly about it since the initial accusation.

Attorneys in the case have revealed that the claims made by the accusing woman, Lindsey Hill, have been "withdrawn with prejudice."

Bauer, who played a season of baseball in Japan after he was cut by the Dodgers due to the allegations, addressed the woman's claims in a video. He revealed that Lindsey Hill, the accuser, sent her friend a text message prior to making the allegations, which show her intentions to make the false claims.

"'The next victim, a star pitcher for the Dodgers,' a text Lindsey Hill sent to a friend before she ever even met me," Bauer began in the video.

A text allegedly written by Hill read, "Need daddy to choke me out?"

A different text, according to Bauer, said: "Being an absolute whore to try to get in on this 51 million."

"What should I steal?" asked another.

The former MLB pitcher played a clip that he says was "taken by Lindsey Hill herself the morning after she claimed she was brutally attacked, emotionally traumatized, and desperate to get away from me." In the video, Hill can be seen grinning beside Bauer, who is asleep.

"In it, you can see her lying in bed next to me while I'm sleeping, smirking at the camera without a care in the world or any marks on her face."

"And now we have the metadata, so there can be no dispute it was taken mere minutes before she left my house on the morning of May 16, 2021, without my knowledge or consent, of course," Bauer exclaimed.

Hill was notably denied access to a restraining order against Bauer in August of 2021; a judge from the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled that Bauer "did not coerce her or threaten her into sexual activity."

Bauer explained that since dealing with Hill's accusations, he "learned that it's extremely rare for a request for a restraining order to be denied, because the standard of proof that you need to obtain one is extremely low. So you can make of that what you will."

The baseball player emphasized that he has never been arrested, was never charged with a crime, and that he even "won the only legal proceeding that took place without [his] side of the story even being heard."

"And most importantly, as I've said from day one, I never sexually assaulted Lindsey Hill or anyone else for that matter. So I sued her, which prompted her to countersue me."

Bauer noted that while he has spent "significantly more in legal fees" than Hill would ever be able to pay him back, doing so was the only way he could obtain critical information needed to clear his reputation.

In June, a different woman from Arizona also came forward to accuse Bauer of sexual assault. He has "categorically denied" that such a thing ever occurred.
