Ana Navarro, from The View, spoke Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention and after saying America needs a “great big hug” she inferred that former President Donald Trump is a communist who behaves like Nicaraguan dictator Daniel Ortega or the Castros from Cuba. Trump's competitor Kamala Harris has been nicknamed "Kamunism" due to the Democrat plans for price controls and wealth redistribution.

“Donald Trump and his minions call [Vice President] Kamala [Harris] a communist. I know communism. I fled communism from Nicaragua when I was eight years old. I don't take it lightly, and let me tell you what communist dictators do, and it's never just for one day,” Navarro began.

“They attack the free press. They call them the enemy of the people, like Ortega does in Nicaragua. They put their unqualified relatives in cushy government jobs so they can get rich from their positions, like the Castros do in Cuba, and they refuse to accept legitimate elections when they lose, and call for violence to stay in power, like Maduro is doing right now in Venezuela,” Navarro said without a hint of irony, given the Biden-Harris administration’s attempts to suppress “disinformation” through the Department of Homeland Security.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MA) has said that he wants the House of Representatives to deny Trump the presidency if he wins the 2024 election and tell him he is disqualified. He made the remarks prior to the general election season.

“Now you tell me something: do any of those things sound familiar? Is there anybody running for president who reminds you of that? And I know one thing, it's not Kamala Harris,” Navarro insisted.

“That is not the American, the America we love. It's not the land of freedom we treasure.”

Navarro said Harris "is legitimately a joyful, optimistic leader. She cares about policy, yes, but she also cares about people and how that policy affects real people." The liberal pundit insisted that Harris was the right choice for president because he dog, Chacha, “likes her.”

“We cannot elect a president who does not like dogs or hangs around with people who shoot them,” she said, apparently in reference to Gov. Kristi Noem, (R-SD) who admitted shooting a dog in her recent autobiography.

Ironically, Trump has characterized the Harris-Walz team-up as communist. Trump has called Harris’ fiscal policy "communist." After Harris released her plans for price-controls across economic sectors, "Kamunism" trended on X.
