A furious Oregon father slammed the Eugene 4J school district recently over a sexually explicit assignment given to his daughter by her health teacher that asked students to state with whom they would like to perform various sexual acts.

The unidentified father began his speech by calling the board liars for suggesting that the assignment was a rumour, saying he had the proof stored on his phone. He went on to explain that, according to his daughter, health teacher Kirk Miller, also a football coach at Churchill High school, had put a wheel on the board with options such as anal sex and oral sex, and said he wanted the students to write down the initials of a boy or a girl that they would like to do these activities with.

The controversy first hit the news earlier this month when irate parents complained about a separate assignment given to students by the same teacher. Miller allegedly asked the adolescents to write a short story about a sexual fantasy, and specified that the essays should not “involve penetration of any kind or oral sex,” but that they should reference at least three items from a list of suggestions including “romantic music, candles, massage oil, feathers, a feather boa and flavored syrup.”

The apparent goal of this assignment was to demonstrate that it was possible to “show and receive loving physical affection without having sex,” according to screenshots shared with on social media by Churchill High parents.

Further complaints then came to light about the With Whom Would You Do It assigned by the same teacher.

The father said he couldn’t decide which was worse: Miller wanting to know his child’s sexual fantasy, or who she wanted to have anal penetration with.

“What is he gaining from this?” the incensed father asked. “What do you gain from this information?”

He explained that his daughter did the assignment because she was scared she’d get in trouble otherwise. Because she wants to get good grades.

He then asked where the assignment was, stating that his daughter had not received it back, and questioned whether Miller was using it for sexual purposes.

The father then accused Miller of “verbally sexually abusing every child in that class,” and asked where the criminal charges were. He questioned why Miller was still teaching, and swore that if the board did not remove him, he would go down to the county clerk’s office the very next day and file for the removal of every single board member.

This was met with applause from the assembled crowd.

Miller is currently on leave pending an investigation and the assignment has been scrubbed from the school curriculum. It was originally taken from the Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education for Grades 10-12 guidebook, which is utilised by many school districts across Oregon.
