Three people are injured following a collision between two vehicles, including a police cruiser. The incident took place in the city’s north end, say Toronto police.

Paramedics received a call to Sheppard Avenue West and Allen Road on Monday at about 11:30 a.m, according to Global News.

Police say two officers were transported to hospital as well as the driver of the other vehicle.

Paramedics noted that the three people involved have serious injuries and at least one needed to be taken to a trauma centre.

No additional information about the crash has been released by police.

Officials said the intersection will be closed for an investigation along with Kodiak Crescent.
