Tim Walz says he's 'proud' of Minnesota protestors just before they riot, loot ICE vehicles

"That brings me to the fourth thing I want to say tonight, Minnesota: how incredibly proud I am of the way that you’ve risen to meet this unbearable moment."

"That brings me to the fourth thing I want to say tonight, Minnesota: how incredibly proud I am of the way that you’ve risen to meet this unbearable moment."

Tim Walz said that he is "proud" of the protests going on in Minnesota against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, even as there are riots as well as violence taking place in the state in response to the ICE raids.

Walz, who announced the end of his gubernatorial reelection bid as a massive fraud scandal has unfolded in Minnesota, made a video on Wednesday evening in response to the Trump administration over a surge in ICE operations that has been taking place in his state and after the shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent after she drove her car into the officer.

Walz called the surge in ICE operations an "occupation" from the Trump administration, then added, "Let me say four critical things to the people of Minnesota. Four things I want you to hear as you watch the news and look out for your neighbors. First, Donald Trump wants this chaos. He wants confusion, and yes, he wants more violence on our streets. We cannot give him what he wants. We can, we must protest loudly, urgently, but also peacefully. Indeed, as hard as we will fight in the courts and at the ballot box, we cannot and will not let violence prevail. You’re angry. I’m angry. Angry is not a strong enough word. But we must remain peaceful."

The second point he made was that there are people in need of "mutual aid" as the riots and protests have been taking place in the state. He then called on Minnesota residents to record and film ICE agents in their neighborhoods to "create a database of the atrocities against Minnesotans, not just to establish a record for posterity, but to bank evidence for future prosecution."

He claimed that accountability would be coming for Trump over the ICE raids for his third point, then added, "That brings me to the fourth thing I want to say tonight, Minnesota: how incredibly proud I am of the way that you’ve risen to meet this unbearable moment. But I’m not at all surprised because this, this is who we are."

"Minnesotans believe in the rule of law and Minnesotans believe in the dignity of all people. We’re a place where there’s room for everybody, no matter who you are, or who you love or where you came from. A place where we feed our kids, we take care of our neighbors and we look out for those in the shadows of life," Walz added.

Although Walz touted the "rule of law" in his speech against the Trump administration, a shooting that took place on Wednesday after an illegal immigrant attacked an ICE agent with a shovel led to riots, where Antifa and leftist radicals chased federal officers away from their vehicles. Afterwards, the rioters broke into the cars, looted them, as well as doxed personal information of FBI agents as well as ICE personnel.
