"I think he's coming in first."

TMZ's founder, Harvey Levin, has said that he expects political outsider Spencer Pratt to get more votes than incumbent Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass in the primary election.

Levin made the comments during a recent episode of his podcast "2 Angry Men," where he said that although he has an uphill battle in the general election, he believes Pratt will get more votes than her in the primary. "I think I think Spencer Pratt is going to be in a runoff with Karen Bass, and I also think that he's going to get more votes than her," Levin said while speaking to cohost Mark Geragos.

"I think he's coming in first. I feel it, and you know, I think it's a combination of, you know, people always want to try something new. His campaign. Look, this has been a great campaign," he said. "The way he's engineered this with social media, just by being brash, you know, in interviews that he's done, I think that has really worked."

"I think there is so much displeasure with Karen Bass, and that said, she still could easily win the general election. This is a Democrat city, Spencer Pratt is a Republican, that's going to come out in the fall, that you know he's a Republican, and people are going to hammer that. She has a base here. I thought Rick Caruso was going to beat her last time around, and she beat him by a lot. So you know it's an uphill battle. It's an uphill battle for him, but I do think in the primary he's going to get more votes than her."

The comments from Levin come as Pratt has been able to repeatedly launch multiple different viral campaign ads on social media, many of them being AI-generated.

One of the latest videos from Pratt is of him laying out his plan for how to solve the drug and homeless issue in Los Angeles. The video has over 5 million views on X as of Saturday, and Pratt has released multiple videos with a similar reception online.

Latest polling has shown that Pratt is likely to finish in the top two of the primary race, leading to a runoff election.
