Trans Minneapolis child killer Robert "Robin" Westman reportedly blamed his mother for his decision to massacre children at the Annunciation Catholic School. In his manifesto and notes, he said he blamed her for his plan to murder "so many people."

Westman also blamed his marijuana habit. "Gender and weed f*cked up my head," he wrote. "I wish I never tried experimenting with either. Don't let your kids smoke weed or change gender until they are like 17."

Westman changed his name legally to Robin in 2020 with his parents' approval and presented as female. In his writings, he said he regretted transitioning but felt humiliated by that regret. He said that he'd like to cut his hair as it was the last vestige of being trans, but was ashamed.

His reasoning was that she had warned him against transitioning and living as a woman. Despite that, he also said that he "discouraged people from letting their kids change gender," he wrote, per the New York Post. In a July 1 post, the outlet writes, he said he was nervous about an impending visit from his mother.

His mother, Mary Grace Westman, has been living in Florida. She has been uncooperative with investigators and has obtained legal counsel. She worked at the Annunciation Catholic School, which her son attended in his younger years.

In the July 1 writing from her son, he wrote that he was worried what his mother would say about his trans regret.

"Your words, mother," he wrote, "made me stay in my discomfort unable to ask for help to avoid admitting defeat. You were right mama, but the way you handled it led to me wanting to kill so many people."

"When I was first out to my mother, she was VERY antagonistic. She really made me hate myself and think I will never be good enough," he wrote.

"I remember one day, she said something like, ‘In the future you will look back and feel ridiculous about who you feel like you are inside. You will regret this,'" he wrote. "Well guess what mom?! I regret being born."

In his suicide note, Westman said, "You did not fail me, you gave me so much. I truly appreciate the love you have given me. I feel I was raised to be a good person.

"I’ve kept those traits of empathy, self-sacrifice, and good character. Please do not think you have failed as parents," he wrote.

He would go on to murder schoolchildren as they sat in church in prayer and then to take his own life. He also believed that vaping gave him cancer, though he lacked a diagnosis.

Very sad. I hope we can all take something from this. Try to be a friend to those you know who are conflicted and confused. You don't know their past and why they became who they are. Be ready to listen.

My comment was blocked. Wow. If it happens aging, I’ll have to rethink my subscription, assume TPM is leaning Left and blocking free speech… oh, that’s right. You don’t have free speech in Canada.
