Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wished his wife Sophie Gregoire a happy anniversary, posting a photo to his social media showing the couple holding hands on swings, while masked.

The post shows a type of mask theatre that Canadians have grown accustomed to with the prime minister, who has shown that worn masks at times where it was uncalled for, and taken his mask off at other times that don't add up.

It is unclear when the photo was taken, though the Trudeaus received their first dose of vaccine—by Astrazeneca, which has been removed as an option by some provinces—in April, with the prime minister receiving his second dose in July of 2021, this time opting for Moderna.

He would later receive his booster in January of this year.

Sophie made headlines after being an early, high-profile case of COVID-19, testing positive after a WE Charity event that saw other celebrities, like actor Idris Elba, also test positive.

The prime minister also tested positive for the virus, towards the end of January of 2022. His positive test came as the Freedom Convoy protests rolled in to Ottawa.
