Trump blasts Biden over border policies that allowed alleged infant-killing illegal immigrant into the US

"I call it Biden migrant crime, because he's allowed probably 15, 16 million people into our country, having no idea who they are, many are from prisons and jails, many are from mental institutions, even insane asylums."

Speaking outside the Manhattan courtroom where DA Alvin Bragg’s falsified business records trial continued on Tuesday, Donald Trump criticized Biden’s open border policies that have led to millions of illegal immigrants being let into the country.

Holding up the mugshot of an illegal immigrant recently arrested and charged with the death of an infant, Trump said, "This is what they should be looking at right here.

"This is called our new wave of crime, migrant crime. I call it Biden migrant crime, because he's allowed probably 15, 16 million people into our country, having no idea who they are, many are from prisons and jails, many from our mental institutions, even insane asylums. They’re emptying out all over the world and coming into our beautiful USA. This is a man just charged with the death of a three-month-old baby.

"This is what we’re allowing into our country. No checks, no nothing."

26-year-old Melvin Jesus Aquino Enriquez was recently arrested and charged in connection with the April death of a 3-month-old in Texas.

According to Fox News, authorities responded to reports of an injured child where Enriquez lived in Porter, Texas on April 14 and "promptly initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child's injuries," Fox News reported.

The baby was hospitalized but succumbed to the injuries sustained on April 24.

The sheriff’s office said that the MCSO Special Victims Unit is waiting on the autopsy results to "further determine the circumstances leading to the untimely and devastating death of the child. At that point officials will determine whether "appropriate additional charges" are warranted.

An ICE spokesperson told the outlet that Enriquez is a "previously removed Mexican national" who entered the US illegally "on an unknown date and at an unknown location without inspection, admission or parole by an immigration officer."

Enriquez was previously ordered to be removed in September 2020.
