Trump calls for special prosecutor to investigate 2020 election

President Donald Trump called on Friday for a special prosecutor to investigate claims of fraud in the 2020 election, saying that the evidence is "massive and overwhelming.

"Zero Border crossings for the month for TRUMP, verses 60,000 for Sleepy, Crooked Joe Biden, a man who lost the 2020 Presidential Election by a 'LANDSLIDE!' Biden was grossly incompetent, and the 2020 election was a total FRAUD," Trump wrote.

"The evidence is MASSIVE and OVERWHELMING. A Special Prosecutor must be appointed. This cannot be allowed to happen again in the United States of America! Let the work begin! What this Crooked man, and his CORRUPT CRONIES, have done to our Country in 4 years, is grossly indescribable! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"



This comes after FBI Director Kash Patel said on Monday that his agency has "located documents which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election, including allegations of interference by the CCP," and "immediately" declassified the materials and turned them over to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.

Officials told Just the News that the declassified intelligence reports from August 2020 were not fully investigated or corroborated, but " instead were recalled from intelligence agencies at about the time that then-FBI Director Chris Wray testified there were no known plots of foreign interference ahead of the 2020 election in which Biden defeated Donald Trump."

Patel told the outlet, "Thanks to the oversight work and partnership of Chairman Grassley, the FBI continues to provide unprecedented transparency at the people's Bureau. To that end, we have located documents Chairman Grassley requested, which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election."

“Specifically, these include allegations of plans from the CCP to manufacture fake driver's licenses and ship them into the United States for the purpose of facilitating fraudulent mail-in ballots – allegations which, while substantiated, were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public,” he continued.

Officials who saw the documents said that the information had come from a relatively new confidential source in the summer of 2020, who said that the Chinese government was making and exporting fake US driver’s licenses to Chinese nationals in the US so that they could vote in the election in a plot that was allegedly designed to benefit Biden.

Officials added that while the allegations were never fully investigated due to needing to interview the source, US Customs and Border Protection intercepted around 20,000 fake licenses around the time of the intelligence report.
