US President Trump's campaign has just filed a new lawsuit in Michigan on Monday, alleging that at least 40,000 ballots in the city of Detroit were fraudulent, and that elections officials were complicit in the fraud.
This legal complaint, one of many in Michigan alone, encompasses many activities deemed to be from suspicious to downright illegal in Detroit. A similar legal action has been undertaken in bordering Wayne County to the immediate north.
According to The Federalist, the complaint has been initiated by the Great Lakes Justice Centre, a political action group affiliated with the Trump campaign, and alleges that they are in possession of direct evidence of ballots arriving at Detroit's one and only ballot processing location in an unsecured manner, carried by vehicles with out-of-state license plates. This event occurred, according to the complaint, precisely at the time when workers were changing shifts.
Furthermore, eyewitnesses will sign affidavits and further testify that every single one of these 40,000+ ballots went to Democratic candidate Joe Biden, and that there were multiple instances of these injections of illegal ballots.
Finally, the lawsuit alleges that upon having been discovered, election officials and their collaborators conspired to deny access to others to the counting room so that the ballot-counting process could not be properly observed.
Here follows an excerpt from the complaint:
"After poll challengers started discovering the fraud taking place at the TCF Center, Defendant election officials and workers locked credentialed challengers out of the counting room so they could not observe the process, during which time tens of thousands of ballots were processed.
"Defendant election officials and workers allowed ballots to be duplicated by hand without allowing poll challengers to check if the duplication was accurate. In fact, election officials and workers repeatedly obstructed poll challengers from observing. Defendants permitted thousands of ballots to be filled out by hand and duplicated on site without oversight from poll challengers."
It should be noted that the approximately 40,000 illegal ballots is a figure applying only to the initial incident, of which there were several, according to the complaint. Upon further investigation, "None of the names of these new ballots corresponded with any registered voter."
