A new poll has found that Donald Trump leads Joe Biden in six of seven key 2024 battleground states, while Biden leads by a slim margin in just one.

The poll, conducted by Bloomberg News/Morning Consult, found that Trump leads in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, while Biden leads in Michigan.

Trump received 49 percent support to Biden’s 42 percent in Arizona. In Georgia, Trump led by 6 points, 49 to 43 percent. Trump saw massive leads in Nevada and North Carolina, leading Biden by 8 and 10 percent, respectively. Trump led Biden 47 to 46 percent in Arizona, and 48 to 44 percent in Wisconsin.

Biden holds just a two-point lead in Michigan, with 47 percent support to Trump’s 45 percent.

A previous version of the poll conducted in March found that Trump led in four swing states, while Michigan and Pennsylvania were tied and Biden was winning by one point in Wisconsin.

"Some of the shine of the State of the Union address has worn off," said Matt Monday, senior manager of Morning Consult. "People are really tying Bidenomics and their perception of the economy to the inflation rate."

The majority of swing state voters said that economic conditions will get worse by the end of the year. 51 percent of all swing state voters said the overall US economy would get worse, 55 percent said the inflation rate would get worse, and 50 percent said borrowing costs would get worse under what could be the last year of the Biden administration.

The April poll was conducted between April 8 and 15 of 4,969 registered voters in the seven swing states, and has a margin of error of 3 percent in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, 4 percent in Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, and 5 percent in Nevada.
