Trump leads Biden in seven swing states, and continues to lead when independent Kennedy and third-party candidates West and Stein are thrown into the mix.
A new poll of swing state voters from Bloomberg News/Morning Consult has revealed that 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is leading incumbent Joe Biden in all of them.
In a potential head-to-head rematch in Arizona, Trump leads Biden 46 to 42 percent. When independent Robert F Kennedy and third-party candidates Cornel West and Jill Stein are added into the mix, Trump leads Biden, his next highest competitor, 40 to 37 percent. Biden narrowly won Arizona in 2020 by just 0.4 percent of the vote, or around 10,000 votes.
Among Georgia voters, Trump leads Biden 49 to 43 percent, and leads 44 to 37 percent when the other candidates are added in. Biden narrowly won the state in 2020 by just 0.3 percent of the vote, or around 12,000 votes.
In Michigan, Trump leads Biden 46 to 42 percent among voters, and 39 to 35 percent with Kennedy, West, and Stein added in. Biden won the state in 2020 by around 150,000 votes.
Trump also leads in Nevada, taking in 47 percent to Biden’s 44 percent, and leading 42 to 37 percent over Biden when Kennedy and the third-party candidates are added into the mix. Biden won the state in 2020 by around 30,000 votes.
Trump has a 9 point lead over Biden in North Carolina, raking in 49 percent support compared to Biden’s 40 percent. Trump’s lead grows to over 10 percent when third-party and independent candidates are added into the mix, receiving 45 percent support to Biden’s 34. Trump won the state in 2020 by around 75,000 votes.
In Pennsylvania, Trump leads Biden 46 to 44 percent, and 39 to 38 percent with the other candidates added in. In 2020, Biden won the state by around 80,000 votes.
Wisconsin voters also threw their support behind Trump, with 45 percent preferring the former president compared to 41 percent who preferred Biden. Trump’s lead grew with third-party candidates added in, receiving 40 percent of the support compared to Biden’s 34 percent. Biden won the state in 2020 by around 20,000 votes.
The Arizona poll was conducted of 796 registered voters, the Georgia poll of 801, the Michigan of 703, the Nevada of 451, the North Carolina poll of 704, the Pennsylvania of 799, and the Wisconsin of 681 registered voters.
The Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin polls were conducted between November 27 and December 6. The Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania polls were conducted between November 27 and December 5. The Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania polls have a margin of error of 3 percent, the Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin polls have a margin of error of 4 percent, and the Nevada poll has a margin of error of 5 percent.
