Trump is leading Harris 46 to 43 points in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.
According to the new poll from Trafalgar, Trump is leading Harris 46 to 43 points in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, a state that many believe will determine the outcome of the election in November. In the poll, around 5 percent were in favor of "other" options when choosing a candidate for president and a little over 5 percent were undecided. In addition to this, Democratic Senate candidate Bob Casey, Jr. is trailing the GOP's Dave McCormick by around one point in the state, according to the poll.
The poll, although it is leaning in favor of Trump and McCormick, had about one point more participation from Democrats than Republicans. 40.3 percent of those in the poll were Democrats, 39.4 percent were registered in the GOP, and 20.3 percent were independent voters.
The poll was conducted between Oct. 17 and 19 with 1084 responses from likely 2024 election voters and had a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percent with 95 percent confidence. More women participated int the poll then men.
Trump has worked hard to campaign in the Keystone State in recent days, doing a second rally in Butler, Pennsylvania earlier this month after the first assassination attempt, and on Sunday, he worked the McDonald's fryer in a move that humanized the former president while also mocking Harris for touting her claim of working there as a college student.
