In the days leading up to November 5, GOP nominee Donald Trump is set to attend a Penn State football game just days before the election, the school has revealed. Pennsylvania is considered to be one of the key states for both candidates to win in order to attain the presidency.

The Nittany Lions will be playing the Ohio State Buckeyes on November 2 as the number three and two teams respectively. College football reporter for Yahoo Sports, Ross Dellenger, posted on X, "Donald Trump’s team is making plans for the former president to attend the Ohio State-Penn State game on Nov. 2 in State College."

"If the schedule is finalized, he'd be appearing in a swing state three days before Election Day. Trump attended the UGA-Bama game earlier this year," Dellenger added.

While the plans for how that is going to play out exactly are still unclear, Penn State has noted that a "private citizen" invited the GOP nominee to the game as a "guest in their suite," according to reporter Ben Jones, who covers the Penn State beat.

"The University has been notified that a private citizen has invited former President Donald Trump to attend the Ohio State-Penn State football game as a guest in their suite," Penn State revealed.

"The U.S. Secret Service is working with University Police and Public Safety and other state and local law enforcement on safety and security measures that are put into place around the presence of presidential candidates. With that in mind, we encourage fans, anyone visiting campus, and all those attending the game to arrive early to the game or to their intended destinations," the school added.

This visit will come after the former president attended Alabama's college football match against Georgia last month. At that stop, Trump was joined by Sens. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and Katie Britt (R-AL) as well as Kid Rock. Some of the fans at the game playfully wore shirts as well as stickers that read, "They’re eating the Dawgs!" in a play on words referencing the debate line that has now became a viral moment from his match-up against Harris as well as the Alabama Crimson Tide going up against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The stop, just days before the election, could make the difference for Trump in the vital swing state going up against Harris. Five out of the last six polls on Real Clear Polling have the GOP leading Harris and the average shows Trump edging her out in the battleground state by less than a point.
