President Trump tweeted a short and cryptic video of Lesley Stahl on Tuesday, wherein the "60 Minutes" journalist was at the White House and wearing no mask. This came after he and Stahl ended Trump's "60 Minutes" with Stahl.
President Trump tweeted this video, where those who are not Stahl are masked, and ended his message with "Much more to come."
The Tweet may be related to something Stahl mentioned during the interview, but according to the White House Assistant Secretary, it is a direct response to Stahl allegedly criticizing staff for not wearing a mask.
The "60 Minutes" interview is set to air on Sunday on CBS as part of a convention where the program interviews Presidents and candidates prior to an election.
That is, unless President Trump scoops 60 Minutes and releases it ahead of time, as he teased he might in a tweet.
"I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME! This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about..."
