In yet another case of vandalism committed against former President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, someone let their dog defecate on it.

A photo of the incident was obtained by TMZ on Friday. According to TMZ, the owner of the animal would not receive any vandalism charges. California law reportedly states that someone could be prosecuted for vandalism if they "deface with graffiti or other inscribed material," or if they damage or destroy the property.

The dog owner may be issued a fine under Los Angeles' Waste Removal law, in which the offender is required to remove the feces "immediately from public property or private property not owned or possessed by the owner or custodian of the dog." Those found in violation of the city's law could face an "infraction punishable by a fine of up to $100."

Trump's star has been vandalized in a number of ways in the past. Most notably, in 2016 and numerous times after, James Otis, a member of the famed Otis Elevator family, took a pickax to the star, receiving community service $4,400 fine as punishment and was placed on three years of probation. TMZ notes that Otis was arrested and charged with felony vandalism last year. At one point, the number of vandalisms became so bad that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which manages the Walk of Fame, placed a barrier around the famous Hollywood star.
