The former US Capitol police chief told Tucker “that crap was filled with federal agents.”
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson dropped a massive bombshell during his recent guest appearance on the Stay Free podcast, telling show host Russell Brand that the crowd outside of the US Capitol at the time when riots took place on Jan. 6, 2021 was “filled with federal agents.”
American journalist Tim Pool discussed the revelation on Friday's episode of Timcast IRL, noting that Carlson conducted an interview with former US Capitol Police Steven Sund, who was fired by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just after the Capitol riots.
In a clip of his appearance with Brand, Carlson recounted, “I never thought there was a false flag or anything like that, I'm not a conspiracist by temperament. I never thought that.”
He then stated that when interviewing Sund, the former US Capitol police chief said “that crap was filled with federal agents.” “He would know of course, because he was in charge of security at the site,” Carlson observed. Speaking of firings, Carlson stated that his exchange with now-former police chief Sund never hit the airwaves as it occurred around the same time he was ousted by Fox News. Pool, along with show guest James Klug, both agreed that many Americans had previously predicted there was funny business on the part of the US government on that fateful day, and that numerous revelations since have largely proved those suppositions to be true. “The scary thing I suppose is, it's it's trickling in drops at a time,” noted Pool. He continued, “The reason why I say it's scary is that it's coming out only in slow droplets to the point where people don't care because not a bombshell.” Klug concurred, adding, “yeah, just drop this many 1000 stories over the next handful years and like you said, not a big bombshell. I think for the General … population as well, they don't grab on to the little tiny hints and clues here and there. They really grab on to major bombshells.” Pool seemingly alluded to the gaslighting of the media surrounding narratives it may push, telling Klug and others on the show, “First they'll say… ‘it wasn't happening, you're lying.’ Now we have more information, it was, then they're gonna say, ‘Oh, well, you're exaggerating,’ And then by next year, it'll be a good thing.” He banally concluded, “That’s how the cycle goes,” adding that in short order people will finally say, “oh, yeah, it happened. Yeah, it was a really good thing that it did because they caught those evil people.”
