On Thursday, the Twitter account @Teachers_Exposed, which made a practice of exposing woke teachers and educational indoctrination practices, was banned from the platform.
In screenshots of notifications delivered by Twitter, they state that the account was permanently suspended from Twitter for violating rules on "ban evasion."
Speaking with The Post Millennial, the owner of the account, who requested to remain anonymous, said that they previously had a parody account banned from Twitter at the beginning of November, but was able to open up the Teachers Exposed account shortly after without issue.
They said that the account had not received any violation leading up to the ban.
"So it was taken down at approximately 12:30 [pm] Mountain Standard Time," they said in regards to the ban. "And it was really interesting because I went to go on my account and I was looking at my followers, and suddenly it said no followers, I was like, 'what is going on?' And then I finally discovered that my account had been completely taken down. And then I got an email saying that it was taken down for — what was it — something, ban invasion."
"They are censoring truth," they said in regards to Twitter.
"What I am sharing are unedited videos and screenshots of teachers who have put themselves out there, and showing what is actually going on in the classroom. In essence, I am being an eye in the classroom for parents around the country, and they are shutting that down. They are shutting truth down," they added.
The account features countless TikTok videos and social media posts from liberal teachers talking mainly about gender and sexuality.
In one post, the account posted a TikTok video of a Fremont High School teacher in Oakland, California that created a "transition closet" for their students.
"The goal of the transition closet is for our students to wear the clothes that their parents approve of, come to school and then swap out into the clothes that fit who they truly are," said Thomas Martin-Edwards, a Spanish teacher at the Oakland Unified School District and founder of the Queer Teacher Fellowship.
"And I use the idea that this is like Superman changing in a phone booth. But that idea actually goes a lot further than that. Because Superman isn't Clark Kent. Clark Kent is actually the disguise. And when Clark Kent goes into the phone booth, he transforms into Superman, who is really just who he truly is, Kal-El. So this gives our trans students the opportunity to be the superheroes that we know they are," he said.
In light of the Twitter ban, Teachers Exposed can be followed on Gettr, Parler, Substack, Facebook, and Instagram.
